Important message from the SRREF:
As you know, the spread of the Coronavirus is impacting events throughout the country, state and recently in our local area. The health and well being of Sauk Rapids-Rice students, staff, families, and community is our highest priority. Unfortunately, due to the potential for spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Foundation has made the difficult decision to cancel the Stars of the Storm event – scheduled for tomorrow – Friday, March 13, 2020.
We thank the community, students and staff for their hard work and dedication to this amazing event. We also thank our generous donors for their commitment to the SRREF and its Mission to provide financial assistance for programs and projects that enhance and enrich educational opportunities for students.
If you have purchased tickets for the event
– the Foundation will contact you regarding a refund.
Founded in 2012, the Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Foundation (SRREF) aims to provide opportunities for all students to excel, by funding special projects that go far beyond the district’s operating budget.
We unite the generosity of those who care deeply for our students and schools.

Our Funds
The Annual Fund addresses the needs and opportunities of today. The Endowment Fund addresses the needs of tomorrow. Endowments are charitable investment accounts in which the principal contributions are never spent; only the earnings provide a flexible, dependable funding stream. Both funds are equally important, which is why we recommend a 50/50 split on contributions. |
GrantsClassroom mini grants have been awarded to Sauk Rapids-Rice students and teachers. Since its inception in 2012, the Foundation has awarded over $78,000 in grants to the Sauk Rapids-Rice School District. If you are a teacher in the Sauk Rapids-Rice School District apply for a mini grant by logging into Staff Access and navigating to More > SRR Education Foundation > Mini Grants or |
