Welcome to Rice Elementary School
Our community school is located about 12 miles north of Sauk Rapids in the small dynamic city of Rice, MN. Our school serves 360 students in early childhood through fifth grade programming. Rice Elementary is a community school that works with students and families to create the finest quality educational experiences possible. Our dedicated and highly skilled staff works hard to meet the individual needs of each child within an inviting, safe, and caring school environment.
Academic excellence, with an exceptional focus on math and language arts, drives our educational programming. Through updated curriculums such as Houghton Mifflin’s Math Expressions and Language Arts Journeys, as well purposeful, intentional, and data driven decisions about each student’s progress, we strive to meet all of the educational needs of all students.
Rice Elementary School takes great pride in the strong support that our community offers. We are committed to fostering these relationships, and growing new relationships with those of you who are new to our community.
