
Glen Irvin is Sauk Rapids-Rice High School’s November/December STORM Staff of the Month. He exemplifies SRRHS’s core values by positively participating in the school community, showing consideration and acceptance for all and demonstrating integrity in relationships, actions and work.
Irvin’s official title is high school technology integration and instructional coach. He has served our district in this role for three years. He says his favorite part of the job is “being part of an amazing team of educators who strive to meet the needs of all of the students.”
Alongside his instructional coaching duties, Irvin hosts an educational podcast called OnEducation. He reports that that his program regularly receives about 5,000 downloads a month!
Irvin has been married to Nicole for nine years. She also teaches in the district. The couple have two children: Lyzander, age 13 and Lynx, age 8.
In his spare time, Irvin loves to play the guitar and sing. He is also an avid video gamer. Hearthstone is his current favorite game.
