Kindergarten

One book first trimester, two books second and third trimester.

This allows for teaching book care and responsibility.

First Grade

Second Grade

Two books maximum, easy fiction and nonfiction, easy chapters.

Third Grade

Three books maximum, all books.

Fourth Grade

Three books maximum, all books. 

Fifth Grade

Three books maximum, all books. 

Lost or overdue books will be taken out of your child’s name at the end of the trimester so they may continue to checkout books from the media center. We want students to continue to have books in their hands as much as possible. However, if a book should be lost, the account will be billed in Skyward for the price of the missing book. If the book is found you may return it to the school office or send it to school with your child. Your account will be refunded if the book was paid for or we will take the bill off the account. If paying by check instead of through Skyward, they should be made out to the school for the appropriate amount.
