Knitting is a fun and practical way to decrease stress. Ribbing is achieved by combing the two basic stitches in knitting: the knit and purl stitches. This hat combines the two together. In this 3-session class you will learn the basic knit and purl stitches while making a basic hat. In session one, you will learn how to do the basic knit and purl stitches and how to cast-on for the pattern. In session two, you will learn how to put the two stitches together to make the ribbed stitch. And in session three, we will learn how to decrease for the crown of the hat and cast-off. Ideally you will have been in the twisted headband class first, as this class will build on those original skills, however it is not necessary. A kit will be provided and will have all you need to make this design.
