Because we are fortunate to have hundreds of amazing staff members, choosing a “top teacher” to represent our talented staff is difficult. These teachers have been chosen for their amazing work in classrooms, their impact on their students, and their involvement with students, staff, families, and community members across the district.

Emilee McGrathewaite is a positive light for everyone. She is a strong advocate for her students and colleagues. Emilee is always striving to push her students in academic and social-emotional growth. She brings realistic perspectives to MHES and is always willing to support her coworkers.

Susana Manea is a strong collaborator and leader who goes above and beyond to support both colleagues and students. Her work with the STEPS program helps students stay engaged and reach their graduation goals.
