2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR TRANSPORTATION

For the 2025-2026 school year, parents/guardians must register for regular school bus transportation services. This registration process will optimize bus routes to maximize transportation efficiency, strengthen safety protocols, and provide a seamless transition for students as they start the school year.

Importance of Registration

Registering for school bus transportation is vital for both families and students. By completing the registration form, families enable the school district to accurately assess transportation needs, allocate resources efficiently, and design bus routes more strategically.

Early registration also allows transportation authorities to implement rigorous safety measures, conduct driver training programs, and address any potential challenges, creating a safe and secure commuting environment for all students.

How to Register

**ALL families must register in order to receive transportation for the 2025-2026 School Year.** 

Registering for school bus transportation is simple - Families need to complete the transportation opt-in form, which can be found at www.isd47.org/services/transportation under School Year 2025-2026 Transportation.  

The form includes essential information such as student demographics, contact details, home address, and alternate stop locations.  

Families need to complete a form for each student. 

Reminder: Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools only provides transportation within the school district boundaries.

Deadline - August 4, 2025

Families must submit the completed registration form by August 4, 2025, to secure transportation for the start of school.  

  • Forms received after August 4, 2025, will be routed after the first week of school.

BUS CARDS

As we wrap up the school year, please remember to store your student’s bus card in a safe place over the summer. These cards are required for riding the bus in the fall, and replacements may be delayed at the start of the school year. Keeping the cards safe now will help ensure a smooth start in September.  If your student's card is damaged or lost, you can request a new one on the transportation page of the district website www.isd47.org/services/transportation.
