Let’s Talk: Minnesota’s Permanent School Fund
Because on November 3, Minnesotans can vote on a constitutional amendment that, if passed, would modernize the way Minnesota's Permanent School Fund is distributed. Superintendent Bradley Bergstrom will host 30-minute information and Q&A sessions during October Parent/Teacher Conferences in each building.
These sessions will provide an opportunity to:
- Learn about the history and purpose of Minnesota's Permanent School Fund
- Understand how the fund currently provides funding to public schools
- Learn what changes are proposed
- Ask questions about what the proposed amendment could mean for public schools
