Summer Projects Around the High School
In the summer, the high school and surrounding fields/green space are the hub for activities and events. Multiple activities, practices, lessons, and events, for students of all ages, start early in the morning and last until after dark, nearly seven days a week. Not only is there summer school and credit recovery, but there is marching band, color guard, flag football, soccer, volleyball, youth baseball, youth softball, and swimming lessons, just to name a few.
This summer, the City of Sauk Rapids will continue its work on the Little League baseball fields on the north side of the high school. There will be heavy equipment traffic and dirt work happening on and near the water tower road.
We understand that this may create some challenges this summer when it comes to accessing our spaces at and near the high school. Please be extra vigilant when dropping off/picking up children from activities, accessing high school facilities and please watch carefully for pedestrian traffic.
