In collaboration with Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation, Benton Economic Partnership, St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce, Sauk Rapids Chamber of Commerce, Rice Chamber of Commerce, Career Solutions and United Way: Partners for Student Success, the district will be hosting a Business and Industry Summit on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School.
Discuss present and future workforce needs with school district staff
The Business and Industry Summit is an opportunity for you to connect directly with Sauk Rapids-Rice School District staff members, share information about your business and industry and discuss your present and future workforce needs. This is a scheduled staff development day for the district and its more than 600 employees, and staff will be present at the summit from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. You will have an opportunity to connect with teachers and discover how your business needs might be met through classroom activities and curriculum. Businesses can choose to set up a booth or request a table to provide educational and networking opportunities with Sauk Rapids-Rice staff members.
District vision for students and how you can work with students
Learn about the vision the district has for its students’ and how Sauk Rapids-Rice Schools strive to personalize education through hands-on experiences such as internships, entrepreneurialism, and business and industry partnerships. You will have an opportunity to ask teachers questions and talk to school administrators about working with today’s youth.

There is no cost for you to participate in the 2020 Business and Industry Summit. We want you to connect collaboratively with staff and work to provide meaningful educational opportunities for area students that benefits our local community.
