Home of the Storm!
Sauk Rapids-Rice High School is a vibrant, student-centered, comprehensive high school located in Sauk Rapids, MN. Our new building opened in 2003 and serves 1300 students in grades 9-12. Talented staff deliver challenging academics, numerous extracurricular activities and a separate alternative program.
Our trimester system with five period days, gives students flexibility in scheduling and a wealth of course options. The ninth grade transition program is a unique teaming concept that prepares students to take advantage of the upper level courses in 13 different departments.
Highlights of our upper level include Advanced Placement, pre-engineering and vocational/technical courses, Tech Prep, college in the classroom, and Health Career Internships that allow students to earn credits and explore career options.
