Welcome to Rice Elementary. Our community school is located about 12 miles north of Sauk Rapids in the small dynamic city of Rice, MN. Our school serves 360 students preschool through fifth grade.
In partnership with parents and community, the mission of Rice Elementary is to guide all students toward the development of their full potential. We promote the acquisition of skills that foster intellectual and academic growth, integrity, responsibility and a positive attitude.
Academic excellence in all curricular areas is an important school goal, as is the development of positive character. We emphasize the fine arts with a yearly artist-in-residence program.
The solid foundation of Rice Elementary is a dedicated, skilled, caring staff; delightful student body; involved parents and strong community support.
