Overdue/Lost Book Policy
Lost or overdue books will not be taken out of your child’s name until they are either paid for or replaced with the same title from a local bookstore. We encourage your child to continue using the media center. We know they are trying as hard as they can to take good care of their loaned books so that many others can enjoy the books as well.
If a book should be lost, a lost book letter will be sent home with the title and the amount owed for the book’s replacement. If the book is found you may return it to the school office or send it to school with your child. Hard cover books have a replacement cost of $20 and paperbacks are $7. Checks should be made out to the school for the appropriate amount.
