Mississippi Heights Elementary Home

Welcome to Mississippi Heights Elementary! We invite you to discover our wonderful learning community located in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Our school, serving 750 students in Kindergarten through Grade 5, strives for academic achievement in a caring and nurturing environment.

Our day begins with student-led announcements, either in the gym with “lift-off” or via the broadcast studio. Lift-off takes place in the gym the first and last day of the week where students recognize birthdays, make announcements and focus on one of our character education traits. During the middle days of the week, classrooms rotate and present the same format using our broadcast studio.

Our staff is committed to developing the whole child – the social, emotional, and academic child. Our talented and dedicated staff is highly trained to meet the differentiated needs of students. We have a vibrant volunteer program and strong parent involvement.
