Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools

The Sauk Rapids-Rice Schools serve all or parts of Sauk Rapids and Rice, with three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), a high school (9-12) and one additional school building housing our Early Childhood and Adult Basic Education programs. The school district serves about 3,800 students K-12.

Our elementary schools are innovative. They focus on the three R’s—Reading, wRiting and arithmetic--and beyond. After school childcare is available as well as many enrichment opportunities.

Our middle school uses a teaming approach providing a smooth transition from the elementary to high school classroom. Art, music and industrial technology classes are also offered.

The high school operates on a block schedule and offers opportunities to prepare students for post-secondary. College in the Schools and Advanced Placement courses provide introductory-level college coursework.

The Sauk Rapids-Rice Schools enjoy the benefits of being centrally located in the state and part of a regional hub. Sauk Rapids and Rice are strong and vibrant communities. Your children will grow up surrounded by the support of close-knit communities and schools.
