Two Rivers Community Theatre Announces Auditions for

“Once Upon a Mattress”

May 30th and 31st, 2012 from 6:30-9:00pm
and June 1st by appointment only
at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School

Call backs will be held on June 1st at 6:30pm

For your audition:

• Come at either 6:30-7:45 pm or at 7:45-9:00 pm on one of the days.
• Prepare an up-tempo Broadway-style song, demonstrating your vocal range and ability.
• You must provide the music for your song as sheet music or in a songbook for the piano accompanist! Do not use songs from “Once Upon a Mattress” for your audition.
• Prepare a monologue (a one-person script–1 minute or less) to read or to deliver from memory, which shows your acting skills, and facial and vocal expression.
• For the dance portion, you will learn a dance and perform it in a group so dress for movement.

Rehearsals are generally Monday-Friday, 6:30-9:30pm, plus one Saturday. Performances will be held July 21 through July 29, 2012.
