The Pleasantview Elementary Parent-Teacher Advisory Council (PTAC) is instrumental in supporting a variety of functions and activities throughout the school year and serves in an advisory capacity on issues related to Pleasantview.
Giving Back
- The PTAC assists with fundraising activities and helps to sponsor special events such as the Carnival, Cabin Fever, Ice Cream Social and 5th Grade Lock In. These activities are attended by many Pleasantview families and are a highlight for our students.
- The PTAC purchased books for books for our literacy library, sound field systems for our classrooms and funded the shade area on our playground.
Getting Involved
If you are interested in being involved in your child’s school, please consider joining the PTAC. All parents are welcome to attend any of the meetings.
The PTAC meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month, except December, unless noted on the the District Calendar. Please come and join us, we would love to hear what ideas you have to make Pleasantview even better.
