The electronic grading system is a tool for monitoring student academic progress in individual classes. It is intended to facilitate communication with your children and within the school setting. The following steps are recommended if you need further clarification:
- After viewing the report, we encourage you to discuss progress and particular assignments with your son or daughter.
- Encourage additional communication to take place between student and teacher.
- Check a course syllabus for overall guidelines, late work policies, grading scales, unit objectives, etc.
- Contact your student’s teacher via email or phone and allow time for response.
- Following this, school counselors and other administrative personnel can be contacted to set up additional academic interventions.
- Remember to attend mid-trimester conferences to visit with your son or daughter’s teachers to check for academic and social progress.
