2011 Operating Levy Results

On November 8, residents served by the Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School District (SRR) will vote on an operating levy for our schools and children. Voters will be asked to answer two questions concerning an operating levy that would provide revenue for student-related operating expenses.

Operating expenses include, but are not limited to, student technology, curriculum, and other expenses necessary to maintain and provide student programming for all learners (at-risk to gifted). If these questions were approved, our schools, district, community, and most importantly, our students would have similar educational opportunities as students in surrounding school districts.

We believe in fostering an informed and supportive public and remain committed to you.  Every individual will have the opportunity to support the first question, both questions, or neither question, thus impacting students and their programming. I encourage you to make a well-informed decision and to contact the school district if you have questions.
