Drug Intervention Counselors offer a wide range of services to youth, school staff and parents. These include:
- education through classroom presentations, workshops, speakers, substance abuse classes, social skills training, conflict resolution and health promotion.
- student support through group facilitation, individual counseling, drug testing, peer leadership, youth service, intervention, referral.
- program administration, which consists of needs assessment, program planning, policy development, updates and grant writing.
