“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted…” Aesop
The purpose of the Sauk Rapids-Rice School District Volunteer Program is to enrich and enhance school curriculum, support students and staff in their educational efforts, and to strengthen school, parent and community relations. The volunteer program is an integral part of the educational setting – working with staff, students, parents and community members to achieve the highest quality education for students.
Each year, hundreds of volunteers donate thousands of hours to help in our schools. They assist staff and students with programs and projects that range from one-time activities to ongoing commitments. Whether it’s 1 hour or 100 hours, the staff and students of Sauk Rapids-Rice School district appreciate every volunteer.
Here is just a sample of possible volunteer opportunities: • Art Projects • Book Fairs • Classroom Help • Computer Help • Job Shadow Host • Reading Partner • Sewing
The possibilities are endless – tell me what you’re interests are and I’ll find a place for you!
