<sup>Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools along with Metropolitan Transportation Network Inc. (MTN) are pleased to provide transportation to all students in a safe manner. Minnesota state statues require school districts to provide transportation at no charge for all students who reside more than two miles from the school they attend. The district has chosen to provide transportation for elementary students who live more than one mile from school and secondary students who live more than two miles from school.

Each community member, school employee and bus service employee plays a role in our school’s bus safety program. We need your help to continue to make the school bus the safest way for children to get to school.</sup>

^{Your student's school bus pick-up and drop-off will remain the same from year to year unless you request a change. If you move or change daycare over the summer, it is important you complete the Transportation Change Request form (below). Please submit your request for changes as soon as possible to avoid the last minute crunch.}
