Drug Intervention Services

The combined mission of drug counselors is to promote the development of youth to their full potential. We believe that all people have within themselves the strength, capability and potential to make healthy lifestyle choices. Our goal is to nurture those choices by promoting safe and drug-free schools through education, collaboration, prevention and intervention.

There are several support services available to you and your family as a result of District 47's collaboration with St. Cloud Hospital’s Recovery Plus unit. We offer information, education, counseling and intervention services both in the schools and in the community.

If you are concerned about your child’s behavior or have questions about chemical use, please call Karen Burzette, Student Assitance Coordinator, at 258-1730 or email at karen.burzette@isd47.org
