Mississippi Heights Music

Mississippi Heights Elementary music program is great!!

At Mississippi Heights we work on songs and activities that match our school’s six character traits. The six character traits are citizenship, caring, responsibility, respect, trustworthiness and fairness. We have a school song that the students sing in the morning at our lift-off assembly and Kindergarten through grade five each have concerts throughout the year where they demonstrate many of the curriculum outcomes that we work on.

Our main goal at Mississippi Heights Elementary school is to have every student become aware of the many styles of music, appreciate all forms of music, develop good listening skills and participate by singing and playing musing using a variety of instruments from around the world. We are always busy and we always keep a song in our hearts.
